Club League

The Inverness Orienteering Club (INVOC) organises an annual Club League to foster friendly competition and encourage member participation in local events. Members earn points by completing designated courses at various events throughout the year, with standings reflecting their performance.

Scoring System:
Participants are assigned a standard course colour based on their age category, following British Orienteering Federation (BOF) guidelines. Points are awarded based on performance, with adjustments made for those who choose to run courses above or below their designated level. This system ensures fair competition across different age groups and skill levels.

Participation Tips:
Attend Multiple Events: Engaging in as many league events as possible increases your chances of a higher overall score, as only the best performances are counted.
Challenge Yourself: Consider running courses above your designated level to earn additional points, but ensure they match your skill set to maintain accuracy and enjoyment.
